Citizen science allows people of all ages, no matter where they are in the world, to make an impact on real scientific research simply by making and sharing observations of what you see.
Darlene Cavalier, founder of SciStarter, will offer an introduction to citizen science projects you can do from anywhere, especially an urban environment, to study the world around you. Darlene is Professor of Practice at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society, Arizona State University.

Registration for this event will be taken through SciStarter. When you select the “Register” button, you will be navigated away from the St. Charles City-County Library’s Website to an outside website. You will receive registration confirmation and updates from SciStarter, not the Library.
