We would like to invite you to our webinars for Citizen Science Month, hosted in partnership with SciStarter, to describe the background of our project and the CrowdWater app!
Presented in partnership with SciStarter and University of Zurich, Department of Geography, Hydrology and Climate Group
In the first webinar, April 10 from 10 am to 11 am, we will give background information on the project, show you how to use the app, and explain why different measurements are useful. You will learn to collect hydrological data using a smartphone app and will be able to add hydrological observations in different categories.
After this webinar, you will have one week to try out the app. You can take measurements at your favorite water bodies.
Then we will meet again, April 17 from 10 am to 11 am, for our second webinar and answer your questions and maybe you will have some feedback for us. (register on Zoom: http://bit.ly/CrowdWaterAskQuestions). We are always happy to hear your opinion and your experiences with the app.
Registration for the first webinar, 4/10 will be taken through SciStarter CrowdWater1. Registration for the second webinar, 4/17 will be taken through SciStarter CrowdWater Q&A
When you select the “Register” button, you will be navigated away from the St. Charles City-County Library’s Website to an outside website. You will receive registration confirmation and updates from SciStarter/CrowdWater, not the Library.
