Pick up a wallet from the Deer Run Branch to decorate. Each kit has a randomized shaped wallet. Due to availability, patrons are unable to place a request for a specific shape. This class is geared towards grades K-5.

2022 is the 10th Anniversary for Money Smart Month, a financial education initiative of the St. Louis Regional Financial Empowerment Coalition comprised of non-profit organizations, financial institutions and other community stakeholders like libraries, schools and churches. What is Money Smart Month? April is National Financial Literacy Month, and In the St. Louis region, we celebrate this as Money Smart Month. Money Smart Month originally started as Money Smart Week, a national personal finance education campaign of Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in partnership with the American Library Association and others. During Money Smart Month, volunteers work together to offer free personal finance classes and events to people throughout the St. Louis Metro Area. Money Smart Month is also a public awareness campaign to highlight the need for personal finance education throughout the year.
