The body of a murdered little girl was found in an abandoned building on February 28, 1983. Known as "Little Jane Doe", "Baby Jane Doe", "Hope" and "Precious Hope", she quickly became the most famous Jane Doe case in St. Louis history. Her identity is still unknown to this day and her killer(s) have never been caught. Could you hold the missing clue?
A locally made documentary entitled "Our Precious Hope: St. Louis' Little Jane Doe Revisited" is soon to be released. Executive Producer, Edrar 'Bird' Sosa, will give a presentation about this case and try to answer some of your lingering questions. You can learn more about this case on the FBI website.
The goal of this program is to educate the public about this important case and possibly solve the mystery of her identity, but it will contain descriptions of violence against children.
If you need accommodations for this class, please contact the Library as soon as you are able to after registering.
