Do you have a disability or have a family member that was disabled before age 26? If so, you may be eligible to take advantage of a government – approved, tax free investment account. ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) accounts are a great way for individuals with disabilities to save for their future without jeopardizing their benefits.
Sandy Weitkamp, Benefits Case Manager for the Skills Center, a Vocational Training company for people with disabilities. This is an excellent resource for caregivers for those with disabilities. Her knowledge of Social Security and Medicaid programs are instrumental in helping people with disabilities join the workforce without fear of losing needed supports. She is a community resource for anyone who has questions. She also teaches financial literacy to Skills Center students. Sandy has bachelor's degrees in Educational Studies and Special Education as well as a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.

The Spencer Road Branch offers a large collection of items to browse and has professional staff to assist with questions about business and nonprofit services. This branch features large and small meeting rooms. Discover public computers, free Wifi, quiet study spaces, and separate areas for teens and children at this busy branch. Passport services and a drive-through service window are also available.
